Here’s how I view it: I think the world is quite possibly in a better place, cannabis information-wise, than it was before those three years.
I choose to put my attention on how the past three years have fueled me for the work I am now doing: this blog, Toke Signals, your source for uncensored, no-holds-barred, non-corporate-controlled cannabis news.
I hope the same transfer of energy can occur for people who were touched by Toke of the Town. My wish is that they can do the same thing I’ve done, focusing their energy on my presence here at Toke Signals rather than on my absence at my former site.
Toke of the Town‘s plummeting pageviews have already offered a more concise summation than I ever could, of what is now missing from that site.
This really is the most exciting time ever to be a cannabis activist. Victory is within our grasp. It’s fourth and goal, and the pot prohibitionists are making a goal-line stand.
They’re not going to keep us out of the end zone.
I’ve been humbled by the early and prodigious level of support for Toke Signals, including sharing through Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, G+, Tumblr, and other social media sites — which, incidentally, far outstrips current sharing levels at my former site, now that I’m gone.
