Can’t think of what gifts to give your cannabis friendly friends for Christmas? Here’s an answer.
The Senior 420 Network, where people 50 and older connect because of their love for marijuana, has produced a very cool bumper sticker that shows your support for cannabis.
It makes a great stocking stuffer for your cannabis friendly friends!
The Senior 420 Network, a brainchild of Catherine Masters, already has chapters in New York, Florida, Arizona, and Utah, with chapters coming soon in California and Ohio. It is an organization for seniors over 50 to learn, teach and communicate about cannabis and its use in health and living a better life.
Masters, 72, a huge supporter of legalizing cannabis, said she has seen first hand the need for seniors to join forces and to have a place where they could connect and communicate with one another. She is a firm believer that marijuana could help many seniors get off of the pharmaceutical drugs that are killing them.By forming this global network, the entrepreneur hopes that the exchange of ideas and information will do just that. “I have always been a rebel with a cause and am simply thrilled to be helping to move this important movement forward,” Masters said.
Wanting to move to a state where medical marijuana was legal, Masters realized that if she set up a network which could help people like her sell things, find things, get jobs, etc., that there would be a huge audience.
“I believe that there is a massive community of older pot smokers who would love to be able to connect with each other,” Masters said. “So many states are now legalizing pot both for recreational and medical purposes we need a way to find and communicate with one another.”
“We’re a very vibrant group of people who truly understand the value marijuana gives us,” Masters told Michael Jackman at the Detroit Metro Times. “Most seniors are on way too many meds and marijuana gives us an alternative to them.”
