The worldwide historic rebirth of cannabis and cannabinoids is underway. The future is now.
The intolerable situation of cannabis prohibition is over. No more deception, no more prisoners, no more restricted medical access, no more shame. No more cannabis control by elites. Cannabis is the people’s medicine; it’s our culture, and we will be respected at the polls.
The cannabis reformation has begun; the dawn of worldwide cannabis legalization is upon us, as the people of planet earth awake from 75 years of institutionalized ignorance and greed.
Much valuable time and many lives have been lost due to the forces of anti-science and racism.
Here is the future of this foundational plant.
Food – Fuel – Shelter – Clothing – Medicine – and
The freedom to practice a cannabis-based spirituality of our own choosing and the freedom to walk our own path of personal enlightenment in partnership with this gentle plant.
Our culture understands that cannabis use is a freedom of religion and freedom of consciousness inalienable human right.
History will record that the overwhelming vote supporting cannabis freedom in Colorado and Washington was the “Cannabis Stonewall Moment,” here and worldwide. It was the moment that people governed by direct democracy, taking the power from the elites who profited from cannabis prohibition by outlawing a plant for 75 years. This pro cannabis vote will be duplicated everywhere it is placed before the people on a ballot.
I have hope for our world thanks to the courage of the freethinkers in Colorado and Washington who just changed the course of world history. This cannabis majority in action is what real freedom looks like. You know that ideal in the name of which we fight all our wars.
“This latest Pew Research survey found America’s youngest voters, Millenials, to be the strongest backers of legalizing marijuana. But what’s surprising to see is how fast support has risen over the years – across all generations.”
“In fact, over the past decade, support for legalization has nearly doubled among not only Millenials (18-33), but Generation X (34-49) and Baby Boomers (50-65) as well. According to the most recent Gallup survey, 58% of Americans overall are now in favor of legalizing marijuana” …and skyrocketing straight up.
THE END GAME: STOP THE NEXT GREAT EXTINCTION
GREEN WEDNESDAY!-Colorado and Washington are electoral firsts, not only for America, but for the world!
Millenials who may live to see the year 2100 are experiencing the beginning to see dire effects of a possible next great extinction, and this time it will be humans, my children and grandchildren and you are going into this global warming super storm. It’s going to be about the human problems of resources, hunger, disease, drought, flooding, refugees and war becoming worse. Climate change dangers are here now, and will worsen many human ills, the UN warns.
January 1, 2014 was the start of the “cannabis solution” as an answer to our coming struggle to survive as a species.
This generation is witnessing the start of a whole earth, organic revolution based on new types of cannabis agriculture, returning us to our natural cannabis-human symbiotic relationship, both medical and recreational. Cannabis connects us to the earth, our only home.
Marijuana is poised to positively transform our nation, and the world: a cannabis reformation that will be part of the solution to global climate change, creating industry, jobs, wealth and, most importantly, a humanistic spiritual awaking of cooperation, which is sorely needed.
Heads up: by 2050 the world’s population will add the equivalent of two more Chinas. That’s two billion extra people who will all need food, fuel, and medicine and building material to survive.
China’s Smog Is So Bad they’re Now Calling It a ‘Nuclear Winter’ because the air is so impenetrable that crops are not getting enough light and becoming stunted, threatening disaster for many farmers.Imagine how bad this problem will be worldwide by 2050!
Overwhelming positive cannabis medical evidence backed up by the scientific method is now becoming permanently embedded within all news feeds. If you think cannabis is just about medicine and spiritual recreation, you are still missing the other half of the hidden story. Cannabis and hemp industries can make many superior products that we all use: anything wood, oil, cotton, soy, petroleum-based plastics can do, hemp can do, and all hemp products are carbon negative. Giant fields of this plant globally can remove excess C02 from the atmosphere. Cannabis will help us take back the planet.
That kick started the dawn of human civilization 10,000 years ago.
“Consider the following facts, courtesy of the American Civil Liberties Union:
“Every 0.01 hours someone in the United States is arrested for having marijuana; Black people are 3.73 times more likely to be arrested than white people. The United States spent $3,610,000,000 enforcing marijuana laws in 2010.” Worth it? Almost certainly not.
Once again, cannabis legalization in Colorado and Washington leads the way in personal freedoms, providing a model to liberate all prisoners of this Marijuana War.
How about we go national on this one, as in a Presidential pardon, releasing any and all nonviolent present marijuana-related prisoners? And while we are at it, don’t forget the past 23 million people arrested in America since 1937 for marijuana possession: collectively, this group, who were the victims of the war on marijuana, should be granted a retrospective pardon which is traditional at the end of a war. The morality of cannabis civil rights demands it.
“Former US Drug Czar General Barry McCaffrey shocked the mainstream by declaring in Saturday’s Washington Post that “The momentum to treat marijuana as a legal drug is irreversible.”
“The more people see and experience marijuana, the more supportive of legalization they tend to become. This is one of the strongest things going for the pro-reform movement and means that support may not just continue to steadily increase but may actually accelerate as it spreads.”
White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Responsible for Deaths?
The US law responsible for children and adults not getting life-saving medicine is based on the fact that the drug czar is required by law to lie about proven medicinal marijuana facts.
The director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) — is an advocate for the government position regarding the drug war. But not everyone knows that he and his office are mandated to tell lies as part of their Congressional authorization.
According to Title VII Office of National Drug Control Policy Reauthorization Act of 1998: H11225: Responsibilities. –The Director– […]
(12) shall ensure that no Federal funds appropriated to the Office of National Drug Control Policy shall be expended for any study or contract relating to the legalization (for a medical use or any other use) of a substance listed in schedule I of section 202 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 812) and take such actions as necessary to oppose any attempt to legalize the use of a substance (in any form) that–
A. is listed in schedule I of section 202 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 812); and
B. has not been approved for use for medical purposes by the Food and Drug Administration;
Research has been set way back by government policies. There are now 156 active researchers who are approved by the DEA to study marijuana — a number that has remained steady in recent years — but scientists say most are government-funded and focus on the ill effects of smoking marijuana rather than on potential medicines… and the research is set up in a way to back up negative government polices and maintain the persistent backwardness of the U.S. government.
“The idea that people are able to get their cannabis medicine in one state, but not another, defies some of the core principles of our medical system, which strives for an equality of health care in terms of options.”
“I am more convinced than ever that it is irresponsible to not provide the best care we can, care that often may involve marijuana,” Gupta wrote.
“I am not backing down on medical marijuana; I am doubling down.” ~ Dr. Sanjay Gupta
So let me understand this: we could have been saving the lives of children with cannabis oil used for seizure disorders since the 1990s if it weren’t blocked by prohibitionists working within government, and who are directly responsible for this 20-year tragedy, letting children die to protect profits of the elites? Prohibition should fall on this issue alone!
In an evidence-based world, the accumulated positive evidence proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that cannabis is a life-saving medicine overwhelmingly crushes the prohibitionists’ deceptive, historical misinformation. The anti-science prohibitionist rhetoric is at a demographic dead end. Finally the world is starting to move forward, but again much damage has been done, and much time has been lost.
The beginning of a medical revolution has started, creating an entirely new branch of medicine based on this one plant. Medical cannabis information is now mainstream, as knowledge of this ancient plant is vindicated by saving dying children on CNN; the next mainstream discovery will be that cannabinoids shrink brain tumors.
Marijuana May Snuff Out Brain Tumors – Nov/2013
Cannabis = Bad for you: Schedule 1. Nabiximols= Good for you, and definitely not marijuana
“In New Zealand, an average annual prescription of Sativex costs about $16,000 (US) As it turns out, Sativex has been given its own scientific name: nabiximols.”
“Like other marijuana-based medicines, such as dronabinol (Marinol) and nabilone (Cesamet), this allows Sativex to be scheduled separately from cannabis.”
It would be interesting if a grower grew a strain of medical marijuana with the same 50/50 THC/CBD ratios as Sativex and named it “Nabiximol” for the express purpose of challenging the Sativex medical patent and having GW Pharma prove in court the basis of how the two are different from each other.
SATIVEX® causes irritations in the mouth in 20 – 25% patients in clinical trials. Patients may also experience symptoms of cannabinoid intoxication, including dizziness when they first take SATIVEX®. Fainting episodes have been reported as well as feeling drunk, disturbance in attention, dizziness, somnolence, disorientation, dissociation and euphoric mood. THC can cause symptoms such as changes of mood, decrease in cognitive performances and memory, decrease in ability to control drives and impulses, and alteration of the perception of reality, particularly altered time sense. Patients should start from low doses and adjust their doses gradually to get the optimal balance of a good control on their neuropathic pain and minimal intoxication. SATIVEX® may impair ability to carry out complicated tasks. Patients should not drive or engage in activities requiring unimpaired judgment and coordination.
“We don’t know a lot about the things we wish we did” with respect to the herb, Collins said, seemingly unaware that a keyword search of the agency’s own sponsored website would yield thousands of scientific papers specific to marijuana and its behavioral and health effects. “I’ve been asked repeatedly, does regular marijuana smoking, because you inhale deeply; increase your risk of lung cancer? We don’t know. Nobody’s done that study.” (Wrong, wrong, and wrong!)
You’d think the director of the NIH would know a thing or two about the science of cannabis. You’d be wrong.
NIH and DEA got nothing! Surely if they had some damming marijuana evidence they would have used it by now? So where are the bodies? (Insert sound of crickets here)
The old timey 1937 politics of marijuana prohibition’s time of extinction: Jan 1, 2014
If cannabis industries were allowed to develop in the 1930s before being shut down by oil, pharmaceutical and agricultural interests, we would by now had a worldwide cannabis-based economy. Almost all of the high carbon footprint resources we presently use to survive could have been replaced by superior hemp/cannabis substitutes. If cannabis products and industries were not artificially prohibited 75 years ago, could our present-day impending climate change disaster have been avoided?
It would be interesting a run a retrospective computer climate model, replacing current petroleum (and everything else) and with hemp biodiesel and products from 1937 to 2050 to see the effects on worldwide temperature increases. If it could be proven in a mathematical model that marijuana prohibition is responsible for global warming, wouldn’t that constitute a crime against humanity?
IT ALL STARTS WITH BEING A CANNABIS FREE THINKER
History stands on the brink of a major worldwide paradigm shift. Surviving the coming global environmental disaster heading our way starts with a change in our psychology. Cannabis is our last chance in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Human biology is hardwired by evolution to run optimally when this plant is ingested as a preventive to prevent disruptions that regulate body and mind homeostasis. Cannabis activates brain modules that are pro-cooperation and anti-aggression, the bedrock human traits that have evolved in humans over the last 250,000 years.
Imagine the next era of this human experience evolving in a positive direction due to contact with a plant that gives humans all the necessary basics that support our existence. We are going to need all the help that we can get with the earth’s temperature set to increase 6-8 degrees by 2050; that is less than two human generations from now. As a resource-hungry world, we no longer have the luxury of not developing cannabis–related industries worldwide. Cannabis is a multipurpose plant that provides food, fuel, shelter, medicine and plastics.
Imagine hemp-constructed homes for people.
Imagine cannabis-based cloth and plastics.
Imagine hemp-based fuel sources.
Image hemp based abundant foods sources.
Imagine saving earth, our only home, within two generations.
During WWII the US government temporarily allowed farmers to grow hemp for war materials. If hemp was important enough to help the US win World War Two, it’s important enough to help save the planet from climate change.
